The MFEA will present a STAR Award for Excellence in Investor Education to the journalist, individual or industry organization that has made significant on-going contributions to helping investors understand mutual funds.

Nominees should demonstrate a commitment to excellence in helping investors learn about, understand and be successful in mutual fund investing and
 

	Contribute significantly to investor education and the public’s understanding of mutual funds
	Consistently provide timely, unbiased coverage of mutual fund issues and information
	Cover mutual fund topics accurately and in the best interest of investors
	Demonstrate a high level of technical excellence, communications skill and professionalism
